    John is Channel Director of Sky 3D, Europe’s first 3D TV channel. The channel launched in October 2010 and highlights have included award-winning live coverage of Champions League football, Premier League football and the Ryder Cup, Sir David Attenborough's BAFTA winning documentary, Flying Monsters, and the world 3DTV premiere of Avatar. Partners include Discovery, History, ESPN, Disney, MTV and Nat Geo. John previously launched and ran the award winning Sky Arts channel portfolio, and worked on secondment at the Wall Street Journal in New York. Prior to joining Sky John was a journalist at The Guardian  and The Express newspapers.
