Jean Dacie is the General Delegate for AFDESI (The International professional organization for Interactive Television). Last October, AFDESI launched a six month trial to experiment an independent portal of interactive services, MES SERVICES TV, on DTT in France.
As General Manager of DIGI-TV, Jean Dacie also works with the French Ministry of Industry, European Commission, and with European companies to help them with their strategic digital media developments. Jean Dacie has been Regional Audiovisual Attaché in South East Asia, for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and he used to work for the London Economics and the European Institute for Audiovisual and Telecom.

Branded MES SERVICES TV, the trial offers a line up of applications exclusively produced for television screens. AFDESI (the Association for the Development of Enhanced TV Services and Interactivity) takes this opportunity to test an open, neutral and independent interactive TV concept to offer consumers “more creativity and diversity.”

For the first time at MIP Cube, Jean Dacie will demonstrate MES SERVICES TV, and the first results of the 6 months trial in the Burgundy area.
