Iris Boelhouwer heads Endemolís global creative operations. Working with Endemolís Creative Board she is responsible for coordinating the Groupís creative processes and teams around the world. This includes overseeing the creative consultancy and format distribution teams as well as orchestrating Global Creative Team meetings, comprising the Group's creative leaders in key markets.
She has guided local adaptation of major formats around the world such as Big Brother, Deal or No Deal and Wipeout and plays a leading role in the decision making process for selecting formats to be showcased at international markets.
Iris first joined Endemol in 1994 and since then has held a number of key roles within the company. This has included Executive Producer and Creative Director at Endemol Netherlands and most recently Executive Director, Creative Support at Endemol Group.
Additionally, Iris spent five years with Dutch broadcaster SBS as the Editor in Chief to their news department.
