Esther Sánchez has served as Head of the Format Department at MediasetSpainsince 2007 after more than 17 years experience in leading production companies in the Spanish audiovisual arena such as Boomerang TV or Europroducciones. During her long period in the production sector, she has been in charge of creating, developing and adapting very successful formats both for the national and international market. She has also being involved in the acquisitions of the rights of very successful international shows such as “The Apprentice”, “The Alphabet game” “The Age of Love”,“The Biggest Looser”, “Beat the Host”, “Uomini e Donne” or “Survivor”. Esther Sánchez has also proven experience both as teacher and lecturer in different Universities andAudiovisualSchoolssuch as Universidad Europea de Madrid, where she teaches television production and formats, or Cesma and Tracor Schools where she helps students understanding the mechanism of the audiovisual language or the script in entertainment.
