Mark Kozaki oversees Programming and Promotions for Alhurra TV - Middle East Broadcasting Networks. Additionally, he is an Adjunct Professor of Communications at William Paterson University. His vast range of executive management experience includes 19 years at Discovery Communications and leadership of the start-up efforts of the multiplatform Italian American Network, as its General Manager and Chief Operating Officer. At Discovery Communications, Kozaki was Senior Vice President of Operations and Administration for the company's 14 U.S. networks and he served as General Manager of the Travel Channel. He has been elected to two terms to the Board of Governors of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

Mette is Head Of Documentaries And Co-Productions for DANISH DR TV.
Mette is responsible for documentaries on four DR-channels showing some 1100 hours of documentaries and factual programming in all genres per year. In addition to acquisitions of documentaries she commissions both international and local Danish productions for DR2. She is board member of Steps International and spearheaded ‘Why Democracy?’.
Mette has supported many award winning films from all over the world from the Oscar-winning ‘Taxi to the Dark Side’ to Chinese 'Please Vote for Me’ and the 2010 Sundance-winning ‘The Red Chapel’ as well as the Danish Oscar nominee ‘Burma VJ’.
About DR - The Danish Broadcast Corporation DR is a national public service channel financed by license fees. It has four television channels: DR1 is the main channel which broadcasts for the broad audience. DR2 has a special focus on political debate, comedy, history, science and culture. DRK is a new channel from 2009. It focuses on history, culture and art. And last DRHD which started HD broadcasting in 2009. The focus on DRHD is nature, machines, extremes and huge things.

Alison Baker has a background in sales, but since 2010 has been working in acquisitions for ABC Television Australia, and is now Senior Acquisitions Manager for Non-Fiction.
Prior to working with ABC Alison worked as a consultant for Verve Entertainment International and the UK factual production company, Simply Media.
Alison was Head of European Sales for Southern Star from 2000 - 2009, based in the UK office. In 2004 Alison relocated to the Head Office in Sydney as Director of Sales where she was responsible for television sales across all drama, factual and children's programming into North America, Australian pay television, New Zealand, and Ireland. Alison was also responsible for the overall management of the London, Sydney and Paris based sales team.
Prior to joining Southern Star, Alison held senior management positions with several leading international television distribution companies. After taking her degree in German and Business Administration at Aston University in 1985, Alison started her career at Granada Television International. She moved on to become Head of Sales, Pavilion International, and Director of Sales, Polygram Television International. Alison is fluent in German and has conversational French.

Chris is responsible for the programming and development of all original productions, co-productions, and the acquisition of completed programming for Smithsonian Networks.
Prior to this he worked for TLC when the network emerged as the pre-eminent non-fiction network on North American Cable. He was the lead development producer for all BBC and UK programming at TLC during his tenure, supervising development of 120 hours of programming annually. Aside from lifestyle and entertainment shows he was in charge of creating history and science programming for the network.
As a television and radio reporter he reported for NBC and NPR affiliates in the Midwest, and has worked as sports cinematographer on assignment for ESPN. He has worked as a writer and editor for Time-Life Books, and as a political consultant.
He is a graduate of the University of Missouri, and holds an MA in journalism. He spent two years at German universities on scholarship studying History and Economics.
