    Game publishers have long been analyzing user behavioral data in order to produce more engaging games. As TV has gone digital, content producers are also now increasingly diving into data analytics as a way to be more reactive to their audience. In this session, executives from the worlds of TV and Gaming will discuss their approaches to audience engagement and how it can drive innovation and revenue and why it will be increasingly important for the future of TV.

    Lisa Hsia is Executive Vice President of Bravo Digital Media, overseeing Bravo’s digital businesses including Bravotv.com, as well as Bravo’s initiatives in emerging media – wireless, apps, gaming, social TV and multi-platform programming. During her tenure at Bravo, Hsia has built Digital Media into an interactive powerhouse with numerous initiatives that serve to enhance viewer engagement. Her innovations include these breakthrough firsts:  Bravo Talk Bubble - the first real-time social TV event to combine Facebook and Twitter with live TV viewing, Bravo Now - the first tablet/smart phone co-viewing companion experience and “Last Chance Kitchen -“Top Chef’s highly successful transmedia initiative that resulted in the most successful digital video series ever produced at NBC Universal.  Lisa was recently honored as a Media Maven by Ad Age.

    Bravo Digital has been recognized for numerous awards, including the Technology & Engineering Emmy, Webby, Mobile Excellence Award, Mobile Marketing Association Award and five Prime Time Emmy nominations for Interactive.

    Nathon is CEO of Social Game Universe, creator of igapi. He is a co-founder of Bitcasters, Citytv/MuchMusic Interactive and Miramax New Media where innovations included: the 1994 backstage Grammys Webcast, the first e-CDs (for BMG), and the first major-label secure digital music format (for Universal). Nathon has produced 25+ games played 100’s of millions of times for clients like Disney, Cartoon Network & Family Channel as well as games for social good like the MacArthur Foundation award-winning History Game Canada. He has spoken widely at venues such as Harvard, the BBC Labs, Toronto International Film Festival and the Banff Centre.

    Robert Tercek is one of the world's most prolific creators of interactive content.  He has created breakthrough entertainment experiences on every digital platform, including satellite television, game consoles, broadband Internet, interactive television and mobile networks.   His expertise spans television, telecommunications and software.

    To design interactive multimedia products, Mr Tercek draws upon a broad range of experience as a television director, game designer, artist, and educator.

    Tercek has served in executive leadership roles at major media companies, most recently as President of Digital Media at OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, and previously as Senior Vice President of Digital Media at Sony Pictures Entertainment and earlier as Creative Director at MTV: Music Television.   He also co-founded five startup ventures, including 7th Level, Inc., which went public in 1993.

    In 2008, Robert Tercek was named a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts in recognition of his effort to advance social progress through media.
