    Tom FORMAN Tom FORMAN
    RELATIVITYREAL | CEO

Tom Forman has served as Chief Executive Officer of RelativityREAL, the television arm of Relativity Media, since the division’s launch in 2008. Prior to joining Relativity, Forman ran Tom Forman Productions, an independent television production company fully funded by CBS Television Studios. TFP produced series and pilots for CBS, including the award-winning but controversial social experiment Kid Nation.
Before forming TFP, Forman worked with international television producer Endemol creating and producing original unscripted content. During this time, Forman created and ran the hit ABC series Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, now in its ninth successful season. During his time with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Forman won two Primetime Emmy® awards for Outstanding Reality Show and two People’s Choice awards.  More importantly — to him, anyway — Forman oversaw the construction of more than 100 new homes for deserving families in desperate circumstances.  While running Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Forman also created and produced Back on Campus, an original series for ABC Family and executive produced Todd TV for FX.
Prior to Endemol, Forman spent the bulk of his career at CBS News. There, he oversaw shows and projects for the network, cable, and syndication.
In 2001, Forman was tapped to lead CBS News’ production of 9/11 – a commercial-free film that first aired on the six-month anniversary of the September 11th attacks.  For his efforts, Forman was awarded an Emmy®, a Peabody award, the Edward R. Murrow award, and a WGA Award for his Outstanding Non-Fiction Script.
While at RelativityREAL, Forman was proud to accept the 2011 NATPE Innovator Award for the company’s Lifetime series Coming Home.
