Dave SIBLEY BE VIACOM (VIMN) | Executive Vice President and Managing Director, International Sales
Dave Sibley is the Executive Vice President & Managing Director of International Sales, Viacom International Media Networks (formerly known as MTV Networks International), reporting to Bob Bakish, President VIMN. Based in London, Sibley is responsible for harnessing VIMN’s multi-brand, multi-platform proposition for the company’s brands which reach 640 million households in 161 countries and 34 languages. Sibley manages VIMN’s global clients, directing advertising sales, sponsorship strategies and creative solutions across channel brands including MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, TMF (The Music Factory), VIVA, Paramount Comedy, Comedy Central, Game One, Neopets, GameTrailers, Shockwave, Addicting Games and Atom Films. Encompassing more than 150 locally programmed and operated TV channels and more than 350 digital media properties, Sibley’s role also involves overseeing all of VIMN’s local advertising operations while managing key client and advertising partnerships around the world. Sibley is a 16-year VIMN veteran. Previous to his current role he spent four years as MD, MTV Networks Australia and New Zealand where he grew the portfolio to include MTV, MTV Classic, TMF, Nickelodeon & Nick Jr. in Australia, and MTV, Nickelodeon & Comedy Central in New Zealand. Before his move to Australia, Sibley held the position of Senior Vice President, International Marketing Partnerships, based in London, where he spearheaded the launch of MTVNI Marketing Partnerships, a full service sales and creative unit. Sibley joined MTV Networks Europe in 1996 as Head of Sponsorship & Event Marketing. Sibley sits on the board of two of the company’s Joint Venture sales houses : Ignite Media brands in Australia, and MTV Pubblicita in Italy.

Nigel joined Virgin Media as it first CMO at the beginning of 2011. Prior to this he was Group Marketing Director of Lloyds Banking Group, responsible for all brands within the Group. During his time there he led the reinvigoration of the Lloyds TSB brand and secured the first official sponsorship of the London 2012 Olympic Games. He was also voted ‘Marketer of the Year’ by the Financial Services Forum. Before joining Lloyds TSB, Nigel spent his career in advertising, inLondonand around the world. At Lowe Worldwide he was Worldwide Account Director based inLondon, and then he was Chairman and CEO of Lowe Asia Pacific, based inSingapore. Before Lowe, Nigel worked at Y&R Europe out ofStockholmandLondonand prior to that he ran Dentsu, Y&R’s agency inHong Kong. He began his advertising career in London at Allen Brady & Marsh before spending 10 years at Collett, Dickenson, Pearce, latterly as Director of European operations. He is happily married and the proud father of two daughters. He loves skiing, art, music and motors.
