    After an analysis of their schedules by C21, senior executives from TF1, France Televisions and M6 explain their strategy in terms of acquisition and content creation. France is mostly considered as a buyers' territory but with the rise of small digital channels, French producers are increasingly starting to see their own creations on screen and some are even starting to export. The French market is changing drastically and this is your opportunity to understand the needs of its major players, as well as the groups of smaller and established channels.

    Journalist,TV news’ chief editor and host at the beginning of her career in Belgium, Bibiane Godfroid became Head of Programmes and Fiction at RTL-TVI in 1987.
    In 1991, she becomes deputy general Director in charge of programmes at Canal J before being called by Hervé Bourgues as Head of programming at France 2. She stayed in this position under the presidency of Jean-Pierre Elkabbach.
    In 1996, she pursued her career in Canal + group. First, as the Head of numeric programmes, then as Director of the antenna, she’s later nominated Executive Vice-President of Canal + group channels and services, while attending Presidency of Canal + Belgium.
    After a collaboration with Air Productions, run by French host Nagui, she becomes president and general director of Fremantlemedia TV production company in July 2003. Bibiane Godfroid helped launching and rejuvenating several concepts: Idol, Going for gold, Super Nanny, It’s clean ! or Jamie’s kitchen.
    In February 2007, Bibiane Godfroid is appointed General Director of programs at M6.

    Emmanuelle Guilbart a démarré sa carrière en passant 15 ans dans le groupe Canal +. Elle y est entrée en 1990 comme chargée de mission àla DirectionInternationale.En 1993, elle lance Canal + en Pologne et devient Directeur des Acquisitions et des programmes de la chaine. Elle rejoint le service cinéma de Canal + France en 1996, au poste d’adjoint au Directeur du cinéma étranger puis Directeur Général Adjoint de Canal + International Acquisitions, l’entité en charge des acquisitions de droits hors sport du groupe Canal + (France et 9 chaines européennes).
    En 2002, elle devient Directeur des Programmes de Canal Sat.
    En 2005, elle rejoint Lagardère Active pour lancer la chaine TNT Gulli puis prendre la direction du pôle TV (9 chaines et leurs services).
    En 2010, elle rejoint France Télévisions en tant que Directrice Générale déléguée aux Programmes et Directrice de France 4.

    Laurent Storch began his career in 1987 in the marketing division of Procter & Gamble. In 1990 he was appointed director of Polygram in charge of special projects, and in 1992 became CEO of Polygram Vidéo and Deputy CEO of Polygram Audiovisuel.
    He joined the TF1 Group in 1997 as Chief Executive of TF1 Films Production and director of the acquisitions department. In 2003 he was also appointed director of the youth department. In November 2006 Mr Storch became Executive Vice President of TF1 in charge of acquisitions for the channel. In March 2008 he was also appointed TF1's Programme Director and he has been Chairman TF1 Films Production since 2006.
    On 5 May 2011 he was appointed Vice-President, Production.
    On september 2011 Laurent Storch has been appointed Chairman of TF1 Production.
    Born in 1961, Mr Storch is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris and HEC business school. He also holds a postgraduate diploma in history from Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales.

He led EMAP’s TV World to win the prestigious PPA International Business Magazine of the Year award in 1993, and worked as part of the senior editorial management team at International Thomson. In 1997, alongside C21Media, he co-founded creative agency Dri Riser developing brand and creative strategy for a range of media and entertainment clients. He has a degree in Communications.
